Today I wanted to share some tips on water and staying hydrated. Since our bodies are made up of water one of the best things we can do is to drink enough water each day to keep our bodies hydrated. A good equation for this is to take your weight and cut the amount in half and drink that many ounces of clean water, not tap, each day.
1 oz for every 2 lbs of body weight.
Now many of my clients have said they do not like the taste of water. So infused water and even detox water are a good solution. There are lots of ingredients and combinations that you can use including fruits such as apples, lemons, grapefruits, and berries. Adding cucumbers, ginger, even apple cider vinegar can add additional benefits to detox the body flushing toxins out and improving overall health. Metabolism Boosting Mango Ginger Water
Metabolism Boosting Mango Ginger Water Ingredients:
- 1 inch Ginger Root, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup Frozen Mango- fresh is fine too
Apple cider vinegar detox recipe
- 12 ounce glass of water
- 4 Tbsp. Bragg – Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother(the good stuff)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice or one lemon
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (if you please)
- 4 Tbsp. honey (raw honey if possible) or 1/2 Teaspoon sweetener
- A slice of apple (optional)
- Mix together add ice and apple slice and enjoy
